Terms of Service

By accessing or using the URL shortening service at lnk1s.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These Terms are drafted in accordance with the Civil Code 2015, the Law on Electronic Transactions 2023, the Cybersecurity Law 2018, and other applicable laws of Vietnam.

1. Description of Service

lnk1s.com provides URL shortening, QR code generation, personal link management (for registered users), and an AI-assisted safety check combined with an admin-maintained domain/keyword list. The Service is provided free of charge, "as-is", and may be modified or suspended at any time without prior notice.

2. User Accounts

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• Registration information (email, display name) must be accurate and must not impersonate another person.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not use the Service to create, shorten, or distribute links leading to content that:

• Involves phishing, identity theft, account takeover, or financial fraud;
• Distributes viruses, malware, spyware, or cyberattack tools;
• Violates Article 8 of the 2018 Cybersecurity Law (content against the State, incitement to violence, terrorism, undermining national unity, spreading panic-inducing false information, etc.);
• Involves child exploitation, human trafficking, illegal weapons/drugs/contraband, or unlawful gambling;
• Infringes intellectual property, trade secrets, or third-party privacy rights;
• Constitutes spam or unsolicited advertising.

This list is illustrative, not exhaustive, of conduct prohibited under Vietnamese law.

4. Content Moderation

Every link created is automatically checked by our AI engine and the admin-maintained domain/keyword blocklist. A link can be in one of three states:

• Approved: works normally.
• Suspicious: still works, but visitors see a warning and must manually confirm before being redirected.
• Rejected: fully blocked, not accessible.

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review, flag, suspend, or remove any link that violates these Terms or upon request of a competent authority, without prior notice to the link's creator.

5. Limitation of Liability

lnk1s.com acts solely as a technical intermediary for link shortening. We do not control and are not responsible for the content of destination pages provided by users, even for links marked "approved". AI/blocklist flagging is a best-effort aid only and does not guarantee detection of every risk. Users access shortened links at their own risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, lnk1s.com shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All source code, interface, and branding of lnk1s.com belong to its operator. Users retain responsibility and rights over the content/links they create.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any user who seriously violates these Terms, or discontinue the Service entirely at any time.

8. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The latest version is always posted on this page with its effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Disputes will first be resolved through negotiation; failing that, they shall be submitted to the competent People's Court of Vietnam in accordance with applicable law.
